Information:

Two classrooms per grade of 20-22 children per classroom.

There are two regular classroom teachers and often a third or even fourth teacher (specialist, division directors, intern) working with children in small groups of 6-8 children.

The mission of the Rashi School, the Boston Area Reform Jewish Day School, is to provide a dynamic, child-centered program of academic excellence that integrates rich secular and Jewish studies curricula and nurtures in its students critical minds and compassionate hearts.

Message From Head of School

As I begin my first year as Head of Rashi, the only Reform Jewish Day School in Massachusetts, I am impressed by the exceptional academics, strong sense of community, and deep commitment to Jewish learning and social justice that are the hallmarks of the school. In our classrooms, young children, adolescents and adults form a community of learners, engaging in challenging work and learning with and from each other.

Rashi’s skilled and caring faculty is devoted to helping all of our students develop critical minds and compassionate hearts. The school’s joyful, welcoming environment embraces academic excellence and creates a special place where each child is known, cared for, and supported to achieve.
